Annie Diamond

Before she made it to Chicago, Annie lived in suburban Connecticut; Oberlin, Ohio; Morningside Heights, New York City; Jamaica Plain, Boston; Oxford, England; and Kraków, Poland. Lake Michigan is her favorite body of water in the world, with Jamaica Pond a close second.

She currently lives in Hyde Park, Chicago with her husband.

She works as an academic administrator at the University of Chicago. She has also worked as a bookseller, a barista, a scooper of ice cream, a salesperson, a camp counselor, and a creative writing instructor.

Annie has written poems for as long as she can remember.
