Annie Diamond is an Ashkenazi Jewish poet, recovering academic, and breakfast enthusiast living
and working on the traditional unceded homelands of the Council of the Three Fires, sometimes
called Chicago. Her poems focus on themes of home, belonging, womanhood, and Jewishness.

Annie has been awarded fellowships by MacDowell (in 2016), The Lighthouse Works (in 2018), Luminarts Cultural Foundation (initially in 2019), and Boston University, where she earned her
MFA in 2018. She also holds degrees from Barnard College and the University of Chicago.
Her writing has also been supported by Ox-Bow School of Art, the Ragdale Foundation, and the Indiana University Writers' Conference.

She is currently trying to publish her first book.
